Jan. 8 — 21-year-old Indigenous woman reported missing from Aurora
A 21-year-old Indigenous woman was reported missing Wednesday from Aurora, according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.
Ashley Garcia-Pena was last seen on Monday near South Sable Boulevard and East Florida Avenue in southwest Aurora, CBI officials said in a missing person alert.
Garcia-Pena is affiliated with the Oglala Lakota tribe and was last seen wearing a khaki jacket and black sweatpants, CBI officials said. She is described as a 5-foot-5-inch, 200-pound woman with brown hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information on Garcia-Pena or her whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Aurora Police Department at 303-627-3100.
Jan. 8 — 32-year-old man missing from Adams County last seen in December
Adams County law enforcement is searching for a 32-year-old man last seen on Dec. 31, according to the sheriff’s office.
Joshua James Baltazar was last seen at about 4 p.m. on Dec. 31, leaving the Adams County Detention Facility at 150 North 19th Street in Brighton, sheriff’s officials said in a missing person alert.
Baltazar has mental health concerns that require medication, according to the sheriff’s office. He was last seen wearing a flannel shirt, jeans and tennis shoes.
Anyone with information on Baltazar or his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or Adams County’s nonemergency line at 303-288-1535.
